PETALING JAYA: Do not bow down to the pressure of intimidation being exerted by Prime Minister Najib Razak and his supporters, said Pascal Najadi, the son of the late Hussain Najadi, to all Malaysians.
Communicating to his many followers via Facebook from Saint Petersburg, Russia, Pascal said, “All Malaysians, do stay strong and determined. Do not get intimidated by PM Najib & Co threatening his own people for thinking and sharing on social media.
“This is your right this is your Malaysia.”
He also told his Facebook followers, many of who are made up of Malaysians, international observers and representatives of the media, that he and his family had created a new community Facebook page, where they could all gather and grow into a large community to seek justice for his late father and also for a “just and equal new Malaysia”.
“Please re-post and tweet as high and as wide as you can. And, stay strong and determined.”
Just yesterday, Pascal condemned the Inspector-General of Police Khalid Abu Bakar for denying any link between his father’s assassination and 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB).
“By simply denying any link to 1MDB and the assassination of my father Hussain Najadi, the IGP draws even more attention from us the family and the general public.
“How come he can say this as there has been no investigation?”
He also urged Attorney-General Abdul Gani Patail to intervene in the matter and posted on Facebook, “This is not his (Khalid) field of competence. It is the duty of the AG to pursue this case as it is a criminal offence that was committed in Malaysia and the mastermind killer is known to the Malaysians and to the world through Interpol under Article 145 of the Federal Constitution of Malaysia.”
Hussain, 75, the founder of Arab Malaysian Banking Group, was killed by two gunshot wounds to the chest on July 29, 2013 as he emerged from the Kuan Yin Temple in Lorong Ceylon.
His son, Pascal, has dismissed claims that his father was killed for his role as a mediator in a controversial land deal.
